70 kids stung by bees in Bapsfontein
BAPSFONTEIN - More than 70 children have been stung by bees at a primary school in Bapsfontein on the East Rand, Johannesburg.
Thirty-three of the pupils were rushed to hospital with allergic reactions.
The local municipality said it had to deploy a mobile clinic to the school to deal with the incident.
Ekurhuleni Disaster and Emergency Management's spokesperson William Ntladi said they were still treating the children at the school.
