Fiji on alert for cyclone

Fiji was on alert Monday as a tropical depression that forecasters said could become a cyclone headed for the Pacific island state.

Reports from the capital Suva said flood warnings were in force as more heavy rain was predicted over the next 24 hours.

Six people died in floods and a landslide last week.
