Rebuilding the infrastructure and houses that have been destroyed by the recent Mpumalanga floods will cost close to R500million.
The most expensive will be roads which have been estimated at a cost of R266million.
The provincial government and municipalities have only managed raise R61.7million.
A total of five municipalities were declared disaster zones on Friday.
