Cape Town firefighters have extinguished a fire in Epping Industria on Tuesday.
The cause of the blaze at the Polygon Shoe Factory and Warehouse is still unknown.
Management at the complex are not allowing any media onto the premises for safety reasons.
Police are currently on the scene, investigating the cause of the fire.
According to management representatives, they are waiting for fire and rescue services to complete final fire checks.
Meanwhile, skeleton crews are monitoring the Witzenberg Valley near Ceres, for possible flare-ups after an extensive veld fire was extinguished.
More than 50 firefighters spent the last two days battling the blaze, stretching over five kilometers.
The Cape Wineland’s District Municipality's Jaco Thuynsman said they were unsure how the fire started.
“The fire was extinguished on Monday at around 7pm. On Tuesday morning, the area was declared safe.”
