Rescue officials are searching for a man missing at sea after a rubberduck washed up on Noordhoek Beach in the Western Cape.
It is believed three men went fishing on Friday night when their boat capsized due to rough seas.
On Saturday, the body of a man in his mid-thirties was discovered near the stranded boat.
The National Sea Rescue Institute's Craig Lambinon says then a survivor came forward, asking them to look for the third fisherman.
“A search commenced at 5am for the third man. Police divers and National Sea Rescue Institute Kommetjie members are involved in the search.”
Lambinon adds police have launched an investigation.
“On investigation the boat was discovered from the beach and a body was discovered approximately 30 metres away from the boat.”
