GEORGE NUUSFLITS - 'n Onwelkome gas het Dondermiddag by die Suid-Afrikaanse langbord branderplankry kampioenskappe, wat tans op Victoriabaai plaasvind, opgedaag.
Die haai is kort na 17:00 in die baai opgemerk terwyl die senior dames besig was om voor te berei vir hulle item.
Hy was na wat verneem word so naby as 3m van een van die dames. Almal kon veilig uit die water kom. Nadat die haai weggeswem het, is die kompetisie voortgesit.
Die kompetisie sluit vandag af.
*Branderplankryers in Buffelsbaai het Dondermiddag ook 'n haai in die water gewaar. Volgens ooggetuies was die haai ongeveer 4m lank.
