Snow dusts Drakensberg

A light blanket of snow has fallen on the Drakensberg Mountains.

Murray Cairns from Sani Pass Tours says while it's still cloudy, you can see the white on top of the mountains.

He says it's likely that the snow will melt by tomorrow or later today because the weather is now warming up.

Meanwhile, a storm in the Midlands and the Berg resulted in some places being pelted with hail.

The Durban Weather office says there were also heavy hail storms in areas in northern KwaZulu-Natal last night.

Warmer conditions are expected from tomorrow.
