A man sustained serious injuries this afternoon following a motorcycle accident on a farm in Cato Ridge.
The man, aged 25, was riding his off road motorcycle on the farm when he allegedly collided with a piece of concrete hidden by long grass. The man was catapulted through the air before falling in the veld.
When ER24 paramedics arrived at the scene they found the man in severe pain. He had sustained suspected back and neck injuries as well as a broken right leg. The patient received Advanced Life Support treatment at the scene before being transported to Hillcrest private hospital for further care.
