Two dead in Western Cape plane crash


The two occupants of light aircraft have been killed after their plane went down earlier this morning while coming in to land at a private airfield near Klipheuwel in the Western Cape.

Paramedics and rescuers were called to the incident which happened near the R304 where the aircraft had crash landed and had caught alight. Sadly, when the rescuers arrived there was nothing more that could be done for the two occupants as their remains were badly burnt. The two were declared dead at the scene.

The full details of the cause of the crash and as to what exactly took place this morning leaving two men deceased is currently under investigation by the local authorities.
