Cape Town weather services on Saturday said it was expecting much cooler weather conditions for the city over the next few days.
Heat waves have been experienced in parts of the Western Cape during the week, with temperatures reaching up to 40 degrees Celsius in some areas.
Meteorologist Gerrie Keyser said they were expecting partly cloudy conditions to hit some areas over the next week.
“For the next week, starting on Sunday, we are expecting some cloudy conditions,” he said.
