The effects of severe weather are felt every year by many South Africans. To obtain critical weather information, the SAWDOS use voluntary weather observers. These volunteers help keep their local communities safe and informed by providing timely and accurate reports of severe weather to the SAWDOS for publication on the Blog. The SAWDOS is a non-profit organization that renders a FREE COMMUNITY-BASED SERVICE.

Intydse Weerwaarneming: Despatch (7 April 2012 )
Ek heg weer 3 fotos aan van n storm wat van n suidweslike rigting beweeg het na Port Elizabeth. Die eerste foto suid westlike rigting van Despatch. Die ander twee is na suid ooslike rigting na Port Elizabeth geneem. Daar was n gedreun en n paar weerligte maar net 2mm gereen. WN Johann Despatch
